Week beginning the 22nd September

Over 25mm of rain fell over the weekend and helped to fill all the vertical pipes fed by the largest group of funnels. So the water is now moving into the horizontal pipes on the surface of the pond.

  3. Hi Timothy and Zoe

The ponds are about 9-10 ft deep at their deepest points.
In Dispossession, the sticks are anything from 20cm to 1.5 metres long, depending on there they are sited in the pond. They are metal welding rods made from mild steel.
    Cheers,

    Susan

  4. Great to visit on 29 Sept. Wonderful to see project happening in ponds. Having seen photos of early days most interesting to see developments and effect of rain/lack of rain. Variation of blues in J’s piece fascinating. Can’t wait to see effect on all houses at end of period in bottom pond.

Karen’s spider- lilies quite amazing - and scary too!
